ライヒの新作が届いた
が届いたタイトル通り2001年のWTCテロ事件をコンセプトにした作品
演奏はKronos Quartetが担当するという豪華さ
WTC 9/11の第一楽章は特に印象的で
事件当日の無線記録やニューヨーク消防職員や死体安置所での肉声に
不穏な弦楽器の音がそれらを覆い隠すようにつくられた曲
音楽における芸術的な要素を感じることができました
当初予定されていたジャケット案は動画にもあるように
WTCに2機目の飛行機が追突する瞬間だったそうです
この曲は今後の音楽界でもいろんな意味での異彩を放つ曲になるのではないかと思います

I think that this music will turn into conspicuous music in meanings also with the future various music world.
